A clip from Rush Hour 3 was released recently It's part of the scene where Jackie and Chris fight Sun Ming Ming, the seventh tallest man on the planet, standing at an impressive 7' 9". And I'm glad to see Chris Tucker is being as cheeky as ever.
"I'm goin' to hit you in the nuts man, if you don't let me go!"

I've just put up the list of Jackie's favorite ten fights, taken from his biography I Am Jackie Chan: My Life In Action, if you haven't read it yet go out and get it now, because he has had one mighty interesting life, and if you know anything of Jackie's films and co-stars, you might just be quite shocked by some of the details in that book. I've tried to find videos on Youtube to all the fights that he mentions, but unfortunately not all of them are on there, or they do not allow embedding. So as I get round to it I will upload the videos myself (from my beautiful 52 DVD Jackie Chan boxset). So go watch Jackie's most stunning moments on film, and vote for which you think are the best in Jackie's Top Ten Fights.

Talking of Jackie Chan's new TV show, The Disciple, a clip of the official launch and announcement of the show has just cropped up on Youtube:
Though I'm a little dissapointed Jackie couldn't blow out all those candles on his birthday cake in one go.

Jackie recentley announced the search for a new Jackie in a reality TV show that will start in March next year. 10 winners will be selected to appear in films produced by Jackie Chan China Movies Corporation. Jackie seems to have some pretty steep criteria:
and of course martial arts too. Though as Jackie pointed out on his website this is defintley not a sign that he's thinking of calling it a day.
Though Mr. Chan won't be young forever. Last Saturday he turned 53 which is one astonishing age for somebody who is still one of the worlds biggest action stars. So a belated happy birthday Jackie!
And if you want to apply to be Jackie Chan's Disciple then the, for me at least, indecipherable website is here.
It is also a must to be familiar with water skiing, skiing, parachute jumping, fencing, singing, dancing, and acting. As for acting, the selected candidates have to be good at comedy, tragedy, and humor. Therefore, it is quite difficult to find the perfect candidates.

I just read a little news article about a stuntman claiming to have doubled for Jackie Chan.
Though it doesnt sound that unbelievable, as the article points out Jackie is forced to use a double in hollywood films due to the insurance policies of the big studios. And presumably that's when Mr Bruce Law has doubled for him. I don't really know what the hoo haa is about. And if he is saying he doubled for Jackie in his chinese films, then who would trust a man that looks like this? At least that's what Google images tells me, and I believe it.
And if you need reminding of some pure 100% delicious Jackie Chan goodness, see how he suffers for his art:
