So it's been a while, exams took over my life for a little while. But while I was away Jackie has been working as hard as ever. He polished off Rush Hour 3, which is due to come out on August the 10th and starting filming The Forbidden Kingdom with Jet Li. (Fearless Jet's last martial epic? Didn't ever believe that one) And it seems like they're having a lovely time doing it.

Today I finally “fought” with Jet Li. It was as if we were brothers from the same kung fu school; every movement, punch, and kick was smooth – we could anticipate each others' moves, timing, and rhythm. I felt like I used to feel when I fought with Sammo Hung or Yuen Biao. Whether it was eye-contact, a facial expression, or a turn, we were very much in harmony and it was really terrific!

Which gives me pretty high hopes for the film seeing as how well the films with Jackie, Sammo and Yuen Biao turned out. Especially Wheels on Meals and Dragons forever, they are pretty much the perfect mix of comedy and action.

And in the meantime Jackie's restaurant in Hawaii, called Jackie's Kitchen, closed down. Oh well, he's never been the greatest entrepreneur.
